Perhaps people thought you already knew James , Craig ? I dont really know because I hadnt met any forumites before this weekend , except Al , and that was because we discovered we have a friend in common ( the lovely Donna - not the Bristol ) ( am I allowed to say that Al ? ) ;D

Great show indeed and was good to catch up with some of you as well. Just heading out to Omaka to tidy up a few odds and ends and then I think I could sleep for a week and Al probably will as well.
Was invited along to fly the Red Checkers display on Friday so if anyone has some photos from that display please do let me know. I was with the leader so was inverted during the mirror so very keen to get some photos.
Will post more photos here soon but it could be a while and look forward to seeing how everybody else got on.
All of us just cracked up when Keith got out his camera! Superb!
Well, what a weekend! A couple of no-shows which was disappointing but not terrible, as what was there more than made up for the absences. Highlights for me were the Be2 and the Spit - of course!
Great to meet Dave A and Dave H, Colin, Grant, Craig, Baz and Ryan, congratulated Al and saw Gav at a distance several times, so not a bad tally of forumites. Disappointed I missed out on the Bristol photocall though!
Typical, I forgot the USB cable for my dad's camera, so after each day's flying I had to cull about 100 lower quality shots. Quite glad with what I've ended up with . Out of 600+ over the weekend, here's my pick of the crop.
And you didn't think I'd go without posting some bent-winged goodness, did you?

I did see you too briefly on Saturday evening Zac and didnt get a chance to say hi. Was doing some work for Aeroplane monthly at the show and had to catch up with the assistant editor before he left the field, maybe next time.
Got lots of sharp photos of the fast movers this time which is good. The light and great atmosphere really helped and I bet there are loads of great photos out there just waiting to be uploaded.
Craig, if you could email me those photos in full res form that would be great.
I haven't seen any images of the usual air force equipment such as Iroquois, herk, or maybe 757. did these not take part. Also I have not heard of or sen anything of the Hurricane for years. Has Tim still got his.
Oh and yep, great images, a pity I was not there, the weather looked great and I bet the beer was nice and cold.
