Not necessarily Australian, the Royal Artillery (British Army) had the exact same badge. The Royal New Zealand Artillery also had the same design but most of the variations had NZ on them. I just noticed that

So a few years ago, I was digging in my grandfathers backyard. When I was digging I found a badge that looked exactly like the picture below. Does anyone know where this is from? Unfortunately I can't seem to find the badge.

Labour's man openly supporting strike aircraft based at Ohakea as being 'beneficial for the region' and the 'infrastructure at Ohakea being under-utilised'...strikes me as more than a little ironic - if not hypocritical It's funny because I actually know his daughter.

I bought one of the Aussie guys patches for $15 dollars. He was one of the C-17 pilots.

Apparently the F-16's are the Pacific Air Forces F-16 Demonstration Team based in Misawa, Japan.

Very excited to see this complete. If I find a decent Skyhawk to go with it I may even get back into FS! So am I. When this is complete I will buy FS.

The F-16 better arrive before 4:00 AM on Saturday or I am going to hate the USAF for ever.

Has anyone got a schedule when the aircraft will be in the air and what's happening when?

I think it's also held at Ohakea as that's near the center of New Zealand. The centre of nowhere more like. Haha

You'll most likely find it's a safety issue, not a noise related one. Ohakea has the benefit of being away from densely populated areas, therefore making it perfect for a large display location. I think it's also held at Ohakea as that's near the center of New Zealand.

The Singapore C-130 has just arrived at Ohakea! I got a bonus of seeing it fly over my house.

On Facebook the RNZAF posted a 7sec clip of a solo F-15SG flyby and said they'd try and livestream the landing. Unfortunately I can't link as I'm at work! The landing wasn't very exciting anyways.
