Great photos Gavin! I love the one with Jurgis in the LA-9 and the pilot looking up into the sky... Were you there when he took the flight? Jurgis must have been buzzing! I know it had been his dream to fly it for a long time... Thanks Damon I will post some more soon

Wondering if any one can help me out. Am "building" a "photo essay cum dvd" of Warbirds over Wanaka 2010 for my father who cannot get around very well, and happens to be a big fan. (As well as for me, being here in Sinagpore, and completely mis-timing my last trip home, two weeks too early ) Have been using the photos from this thread <cough> (hope no one minds, will have page of scrolling credits), but am somewhat lacking in suitable audio - ie engine sounds etc. Did any one per chance record anything - ie video with a soundtrack ? Will put the "photo essay" in my drop box and provide a "public" link for any one interested. Just PM, same goes for the "audio" (So far its about 30 minutes worth, and I haven't got to the photos on page 11 ;D) Cheers davekiwi

That is a great selection Gavin, thanks for posting them.
Cool photo Colin. I hope Richie reads the forum, he'd probably appreciate that one.

Wow, you have taken some super shots there Les, well done mate. Those 'down in the valley' shots are awesome. I love that one of the Zero just taking off too. They're all great.

I love the photo, rearming "Currawong" - not a sight seen usually seen at airshows.......

This thread has to be the best collection of Wanaka photos anywhere! Just superb.
Stereoimage, I love that photo of the Rapide lifting off with the Tiger Moths lined up behind. It's a cracker

Again, thank you to everyone who has posted the wonderful images that have appeared here since Easter.
A chocolate fish to everyone of you! ;D
And Les, just curious, but how long does it take to get a Seasprite from Whenuapai to Wanaka, and how many stops are usually involved?
