Carried out 4 High speed taxi runs in CKE at Hamilton this morning. I can report that there were no surprises and I am very happy at how it goes. There is great directional control and visibility and engine performance is excellent. It definitely wants to fly - I had to back off the power quite early once the tail was up. Photos taken by a friend of mine, Charl Marais:  (Chicks dig Nomex flight suits dont they?)    Just trying to sort out the CAA inspection - I couldnt contact anyone at CAA this week, must all be down at Wanaka! |

Hey Bruce, Congrats, looks good (Dunno about the Nomex suit) If all the CAA guys are at Wanaka, why not fly down to them.
