Well there is some real symmetry here. When I found myself in need of a replacement propeller for my private plane, I put out a 'want' ad. A bloke from Christchurch replied saying he had a suitable prop. Coincidentally he had acquired it from the Airtourer tender referred to earlier in this thread. The prop's now fitted to my plane, and it's hangared at Ohakea. My other plane's a T6 Texan, but when I'm in the Falco it has a prop from a T6 (Airtourer) driving it. Sorry Guys< I've been a little Remiss. I restored the aircraft to it's original RNZAF colour scheme in 2011 after getting approval from the CAA and RNZAF. It is still based at Whanganui, housed at the Aeroclub. It operates under the call sign of Airtourer 61 for obvious reasons.

The text you typed into the edit box should have gone into the main body just after the quote. You might need to edit again.

Nice photos. Good to see NZ1763 which became ZK-WBW in there. I couldnt find ZK-WBW in the current listings .When did 'WBW' leave these shores and when.Shame its gone. We had a lot of problems with parts. As an example, when the electric flap motor went u/s and had to be replaced, the guy who had the only spare in NZ wanted megabucks. We finally managed to get one (the trim motor off a Canberra was identical) from the UK via Singapore. I still wanted to keep it, but was outvoted by the other guys. She was bought by Ian Close in Victoria, and was flown across via Norfolk Island to become VH-VVZ. That was at the end of 2006. Still, we can enjoy the memories - Mrs flyernzl and WBW at Kaikohe during a trip we did around Northland Sorry for the out of date post so to speak, here's 63 on Lord Howe island, sorry no idea of the date and a very poor quality copy off a slide. Seeing she's wearing VH rego guess this is when she was ferried home! Here's another I do remember this one was going west no idea of the date but I do recall it had taped on rego and this was when they were sold by the RNZAF.

The photos of VH-MUM en-route Australia - NZ would be earlish 1994. She became ZK-WBW 15Apr1994.
ZK-JBX ex-NZ1760 would have been going in the other direction, left NZ 7Apr1993. Became VH-AMX
