Try <www.pponk.com> I bought a prop off them last year, very good to deal with.

I think that engine is the old one just in to sort out where everything is going. Getting a pponk when done !

Looks freshly overhauled to me - Continentals dont look that clean normally!

The Continental O-470 is the standard Cessna 180 powerplant.

Reading the Pponk site (weird name!) the engine could be the new pponk installed - you wouldnt be able to see whether it had 520 cylinders from that angle.

I'm pretty sure its the old one, O-470R I think I think it had. Unless they've changed it in the last week or two... Is only in the mount to get the feel for everything, sort out lengths of cables, hoses etc Could be wrong though but it does look like exactly the same engine as when I was there about a fortnight ago, which was the old one.
Pponk is Knopp spelt backwards (owners name !)

Just bought a Revell 1/41(?) 180 and would love to do it as a Wanganui-connected topdresser, so any more shots of BUG, CAT and BFU greatly appreciated. Any hopper and hopper box photos most welcome!

Grouse shots Skywagon180!
Any idea of approximate date of the BUQ shot? Looks like Milford? A/c still in SSAS colours but the steps (DH89 no doubt!) in the background are already TAT?
Obviously before the poor old girl went venison hauling!

She is fitted with the supply drop bomb racks in the photo so is already hard at work. ZK-BGO was also kitted out with the racks but also still had the hopper for rabbit baiting. ZK-BJY
