Hi there, Does anyone have images of the FU 24 flown by Alistair Carter who flew for Robertsons Air Service during the early 70's to mid 80's based out of Te Kuiti? His manager was Merv Thornton at the time I think. I'd really like to know the fleet number of his aircraft but have very few photos (next to none) of his early flying days and would be forever grateful for any photos anyone can post. Many fond memories of watching dad buzzing around the hills. MC

I grew up in the king country and as a boy I had the privilege to fly beside Alister Carter and many other Robertson pilots .My mother was an avid photographer and had lots of photo from the mid 50s onwards of aerial top dressing. Some of the Pilots names Otto Gram Alister Carter Garth Sedon Gerry Lowe Jim Baker .Len Holden was in the early days I remember the open cockpit 300 fletcher Then the first 400 and then the turbo prop it blew up on our strip during take off .Sadly some of these pilots are not with us and Alister was a good friend of mine .Loader drivers also a great lot of fun .I live in WA now also I had to become a pilot helicopters great people and great memories

Welcome to the forum. Are your mother's photos still around these days?
