Superb photos, gold for those of us who cannot be there. Thanks guys, keep 'em coming! :) Cheers, I posted few more this morning on Flickr, you can find them via my earlier links. Also the Bristol Herc has run. About to take it to the bar! Blunty didn't fly due to wet runway at Woodbourne, should be ok Sunday.

Some from Saturday at Flickr, click thru. Cat_HO_4779 by errolgc, on Flickr WW2battle_4781 by errolgc, on Flickr My video of the Bristol Herc looks good, considering, you will have to wait a couple of days. Light occasional rain here, dammit. Should stop the V2 finale.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but what is the story on the FW190? Has it been imported for the air show or is it here permanently?
Thanks,
JW

Just the one from me (mobile dsl...) till I get home Humid... hell yeah!!! Awesome day today after a rough weekend. It isn't fair travelling all the way from Hamilton to Omaka to be stung with a 3Kg shedding 24 hour bug!!! Pete Kirby Attachments:

Excellent photos, nzav8a. What was the camera and lens that you used. The sharpness and colour are superb.

At least she got airborne.. Awesome photos guys.. There was a 'brief' news item on tv1 (i think) tonight, had small amount of footage but mainly centered around the grounding of the Fw190, and the return of the strikemaster!
Speaking of which, what are the chances of the strikemaster turning up at the 75th anniversary Ohakea show?? (probably not good at all i'd imagine..but would be great to see them back there!)

Not the usual airshow photos ( and apoliges for the poor cell phone quality ) . Spot the forum members sheltering from the rain under the wing of the B170 , whilst offering encouraging words of advice to Al , as to why his engine wont run .

How funny is this - I see images of a Havard in the RNZAF dayglow orange and grey scheme producing smoke, and automatically think it is NZ1015, only to realise after a closer look that it is in fact NZ1065! ;D
