Firstly I would Like to Say Thank you very much to the Pilot of HARVARD 78 On Sat 30 April 11 at Hamilton Airport For Giving the Opportunity to Get a Close Up look at Harvard III ZK-ENG or 78 It is very Much Appreciated Thank you very Much again
Its funny the things that bring back memories ! Havent seen one of those yellow " Halon " ( or BCF ) fire extinguishers for awhile ( like the one inside the Harvard ) . They have been banned almost everywhere for well over a decade , as Halon is one of the most efficient Ozone killing gasses known to man .I believe aircraft may have an exemption , as they are also one of the best extingishers for their size . I have put out more than one " unintentional "workshop fire with one of those . ;D Sorry , got a bit off topic , but nice shots Ykato , thanks .
