And here it is, the first and only "Ground Attack Cresco", complete with contract mercenaries for hire to tackle all your farming invaders and pests!!! Wow. Why oh why did the RNZAF never get these?

Does anybody have videos of LTR flown by Bernie Haskell at airshows at Masterton, Hobsonville or the Australian Bicentennial Airshows? Cheers

Sorry I have a touch of amnesia here, but I was certainly the only one flying LTR at the time. I was in and out of all sorts of places doing air shows and demonstrations, both here and overseas, showing this marvellous aircraft off. Just for the record I had my name on 2 Crescos [JAD,LTR] while still working for James Aviation. Shortly after I formed JeT Spread Aviation with JAD, I got Civil Aviation approval for parachuting and PAC did the conversion kit. It took about 3 hours to change to parachuting, then I would do 3-4 days parachuting then convert back to topdressing in about 4 hours. Cheers Bernie. I have a new book out called THE ADVENTURES OF BERNIE THE PILOT - BOOK 1. This is book one of a continuing series of children's books. The stories are all based on true [and not so true] stories from my original book FLYING ON THE EDGE, sales of which have exceeded all predictions and is still selling both here and overseas. The stories are all adapted for the 4-14 age group and brought to life thanks to the amazing talent of cartoonist Alan Blomfield, code name RED. Both books are self published and only available from the web site www.flyingontheedge.co.nz. The kid's version is really taking off [no pun intended] and even though I wrote it I still get a laugh or three, mainly thanks to Red. Here is the deal - buy any of my books and if you don't like them, send them back and I will refund your money in full. There has been heaps of great feed back from happy readers, the best one being "If you don't enjoy this book you have no sense of adventure, no sense of humour and no hormones. Cheers Gary."

great book Bernie - half way through ............................... I'll have to slow the reading down so it lasts longer
all you other ag pilots out there should consider recording your interesting moments so that us grounded earthlings can glean the intricacies of the job - maybe this forum or perhaps some could start a thread for ag pilot anecdotes / tales
Case in point I can remember flying back with pilot (who has no name) from a hot days spraying - fletcher - farmer gave us each a big bottle of DB to drink for flight back home - they were empty long before we got there

If it was DB I can understand why you emptied them out before you got home! It would kill the weeds better than what you were spraying (if it didn't curdle the residue in the tanks first)
