Why on earth is this event not at Hamilton airport Too much GA/RPT crap going on. Te Kowhai is much better being a private field. Plenty of space without the tower. I'm putting in a roster request to be there all the days. Hopefully can get some flying in!

Personally I cant see the point - there is the Ardmore Pilot expo and the AIA conference to show off the "Trade" I cant see much benefit opening for the public, selling PAC 750s isnt like selling spud peelers at the winter show.....
Just hope I can get in the gate to go flying.....

Is anyone going along to this event? I's less than a month away now. I'd be interested to go and check it out if I can get a lift.

I think everyone coming to the field on those days for whatever reason will be asked to pay the $10 entry fee.

That should get some noise complaints! (I got one the other day...) According to the artists impression on the web site, there should also be a Liberator, friendship and Dornier DO24! www.nzflair.com/show-aerialView.php

Well, first day is today and let's just say that the weather is not the best-at all. Does not look any better for the coming days. Auckland has been torrential, constant rain

I really feel for the organisers and the owners (Max Clear) at the airfield. It's going to be muddy and boggy.
