The show MishMash on TV Central is on right now and they are doing some gliding from Waharoa, towed up by Pawnee ZK-BZA, and cruising around the Matamata-Piako skies. Some nice footage.

I think its on the "poor mans channel"(for those of us that dont have Sky  ) We have it on our Freeview. Shame to have missed it! |

It is the local station for Waikato and Bay of Plenty. It's run out of Matamata. It is very low budget and usually pretty naff. My best mate was a director and producer, and camera operator there for six years but now he has a real job. The best thing on the network is when they flick over to carry the excellent German station DW-TV which is all in English and is like BBC World used to be before the budget cuts.

Oh yes, like Triangle TV was in Auckland, think it's Stratos or something now.
