Yes much easier to go under them rather than around them at the same level Most of the beach goers are unaware that something has streaked over them at 140kts

Probably true about most of the beachgoers not being aware of you, as gliders are rather steathly as far as noise is concerned.
Where did you land after that flight?

Back at Drury , 35km away, climbed to 1200 ft and poped the motor for a 5min burn to gain some extra height, hard to catch a thermal right on the coast

Just uploaded a new video
Was trying out the wing mounted perspective, maybe a bit much wing in the image so may move the camera further forward next time, no noticeable imapact on performance or handling
