Not much we can do I know, but Proboards is being a real pain today to access. Keep getting a "Oh no!" 'monster attack' screen and "You are trying to access a board which does not exist". Yesterday power cuts, today Proboards is playing up.

Is anyone else seeing 'NEW" next to stuff you've already read?

Yes everything from the past two weeks or so is showing as new. Damned annoying.

I'd say it's most likely an individual server problem.
I was unable to access this group this morning before I went to work, yet I could access (and post messages to) other messageboard forums hosted by ProBoards.
So presumably, the servers which host those other groups weren't affected, whereas the server which hosts this group was.
I post at a number of forums hosted by SMF (Simple Machines Forums) and you get a similar thing there where a server issue will affect only the groups hosted on a particular individual server, but not SMF-hosted groups which are hosted by other servers.
From memory, I think SMF use around twelve different servers, although they don't operate them themselves, but instead pay a server farm in Denver, Colorado to run them on behalf of SMF. I don't know enough about what or who is behind ProBoards to know exactly how they run things (including whether they own their own servers or merely lease space on servers owned by a server farm), but I have managed to determine that they do use multiple servers.

Proboards has hundreds of servers I believe, they are massive. Occasionally there's a glitch but they always sort it out. They have a great suport network.

You're right there Dave. We haven't had too many issues over the years. Wish the 'new' tags would go away though!

I did a search of the Proboards support forum and found a thread from October 2011 where the same problem was happening to several other forums. One of the Admin people solved the issue for them it seems, so I have asked them to take a look here and solve our issue too. Fingers crossed.

Is anyone else having issues viewing images? Not all, but I can't see the Forum Header and a large no of other images are not showing up. Possibly an issue with Photobucket? Also Avatars not showing.

Same for me. Probably an external issue with a photo hosting service, I expect Photobucket.

There's a MAJOR issue with Photobucket since a planned maintenance session last night completely turned to crap and they're still trying to sort it out. blog.photobucket.com/status

There servers are hosting images again, but you still cannot upload anything new.

It might not be pro boards but there seems to have been no posts between 25th March and 1st April. Or did you all take a holiday. If it is just me then I need help.
Written here because I don't know how to tell anybody.
