I'm proud of my blue slip! Anyway, it's better than wearing a red bandana.
University's changed you, Sean!
Remember to vote for the ANU Alumni (that's Mr Flip Flop, in case you'd forgotten). :-)

The company that the Skyhawks are going to, Tactical Air Services Limited, train US pilots and their Allies. So, the US military farms training out to civilians too, no wonder they are so crap and cannot tell the difference between a cilivilan house and a military installation; or their own tanks and men and the enemy's.

Sheez, that's a very controversial statement, Dave....

Controversial, but true! For all the technology the US have, they still manage to bomb their own Allies and civilian targets far too often. I think they've all watched Top Gun too often!

I've read a few of the books about the SAS behind Iraqi lines in the first Sandbox Storm.
About how they had to have down huge Union Jack flags in their harbouring position due to being attacked by a USAF Warthog and a '16.
hmmm,...

I wonder how many American pilots would have an idea what Union Jack was? They would have been safer using a Conferderate flag, wouldn't they? ;-)

Did you see that excellent documentary that John Simpson of the BBC made after he and his crew and the US column he was embedded with were bombed by the USAF in Iraq? Man that was a telling doco.
Other incidents - first Gulf War a British Warrior was destroyed killing all aboard, more recently Canadian troops killed in Afghanistan, and in Kosovo the Chinese Embassy was splashed. Not to mention all the hotels with journalists in that have been bombed in the latest Iraq war, and all the homes of innocent civilians destroyed over the past decade. I put all these incidents down to poor training and the fact that no-one has ever been properly brought to account is purely criminal.

You want controversial ??!!! Check out this joke I got in my email this morning at work:- Eric Burdon, former singer with 60s chart-toppers "The Animals", today issued an apology. Apparently, there isn't a house in New Orleans after all.
