Thanks for this. Both my parents served in the NZ Army and my family were based at the Terendak camp mentioned early in the video in two periods during the 1960s. Both my sister and I were born there in fact and when I visited Malaysia in 2000 I visited the camp (though unfortunately wasn't allowed in, as I am not a Malaysian citizen).
I wasn't actually aware that 1RNZIR was based in the region for so long; I always assumed they left shortly after the Vietnam conflict.
