heads up for a great show on the bomber command with Ewen Macgreggor and his R.A.F tornado pilot brother Colin. He flies his way thru smaller aircraft in an earlier show to fly an air atlantique DC3, then another marked up in Normandy landing colours, ending up with him flying the R.A.F. Lancaster a couple o times with film star Ewen even plotting course along with many anecdotes from the true crew from the war. He eventually gets ashot at it himself with his bro in the right hand seat. Photography is fantastic with chopper shots and bright blue skies. but not for the faint hearted as they go into the mind set of Bomber Harris and Churchhill. Stalin asked Churchill to bomb dresden and the rest is history. Very moving. finishes with the news of the memorial for Bomber Comand at last after 70 years

Luther,it was on BBC1 tonight.
Just caught the end of it,p'd off I didn't know it was on. I've just finished watching the boys doco on The Battle of Britain(twice),and thought they do it very well. Even the wife got into it,and she has NO interest in my dvds! Hopefully it will be repeated, but will buy that dvd also when it's out.
Kiwitone,if you want a copy of Battle of Britain,pm me your address.
