Khe Sahn by Cold Chisel. Does No. 3 Sqn still have an affection for that song? Totally off topic, but I've always thought that song a little odd, in that Khe Sahn was a US Marine outpost and there likely wouldn't have been that many Aussies around . I think I've heard it a few too many times. I like Cold Chisel but don't really have a lot of time for that track

Khe Sahn was banned for some years.
I don't recall if it was Ian Moss or Jimmy Barnes singing it but Jimmy is a Scot. So that's even less connection to the war.

At the risk of serious thread drift...JB has lead vocals on that, and it was banned for its rather frank sexual references rather than anything political.
Anyway, we were talking about magazines ;D
