Gavin and I attended the flying display at Ardmore Showdown yesterday. A lovely sunny day and looked like a good turn out for the Wheels part of the show on the Airfield Road side of the airport. We positioned ourselves on the south side near the Tecnam hangar. Couple of pics of the first display and I will upload some more later.   A bit over a year ago I bought an old 300mm f4 lens and restricted myself to this one focal length during the day. Prime lenses are generally very sharp as they are made just for the one focal length. Zoom Tele lenses are a compromise for all the focal lengths in there range so generally not quite as sharp. I was pleased with the results and had some good practice for Ohakea. Colin |

Strikemaster away!  Race is on!  A non starter like the Mustang. Cars and Aircraft have the off days.  Fast machines   Looks like they enjoyed their day too?  Cheers |
