It's registered in Auckland, and I was under the impression it would be there. Looks like a great lineup! Nice to see the firearm displays, and Westpac chopper, on the schedule. I wish I could be there! Lots of pics, please

I saw the Yak-3 flying at Ardmore today, what a beautiful aircraft, something about the rakish fuselage and low canopy just makes it look ridiculously fast! (that and the fact that it is ridiculously fast)

Yip... there were big queues to get in the gate if you approached from the north... luckily we snuck in from up the hill just as the Strikemaster did it's low curving pass over our heads. Lots of people there. lots of aircraft... took the opportunity to take a wee shifty round the Mossie at AvSpecs... has t be better than those that came out of the factory! Dave Phillips Tiger display was awesome again (as per usual).

I was slack getting out of the house, (I'm slightly under the weather), joined the entrance queue at 10:03, was parked by 10:18, so missed the T-28 display (although I think I got a couple of keepers as I walked the few minutes to the viewing area).
Good show, great to see the Yak-3!
Some photos tonight.

Great photos, vs. Wow, the Strikemaster looks great with the tanks and rocket pods under the wings.

Huge day! I thought Graeme Frew's displays were very, very nice. Shame the P51 and Spit couldn't go up, but the crowd really enjoyed the battle finale. Well done all.

Great shots! I'm disappointed that some machines could not go up: why was that?

Great shots, thanks for posting them. It's great to see the A-4K and Strikemaster together like that. And yes the rocket pods and tanks really make it look even cooler!

It was nice to see them together Dave, the A4 looked great I thought and a cool addition to the line up. Never took many photos as the time has come to have a bit of social time at some of these events and it was great to catch up with friends and sitting in the pilots seat in the Mossie was just tooooo cool.

Fantastic photos Colin! I really like that shot of the Strikemaster tucked up close to the Albatross. That last shot of the Yak is awesome too!
