Everything looks impressive lined-up and particularly satisfying to see the Strikemaster and Skyhawk "on parade" in front of the Warbirds hangar. Very cool. Thanks for the pics.

I love how the static area is set up, people can get nice and close with the business end of the aircraft. And having the A-4 in with the "live" aircraft is very cool.
Thanks for some great photos, guys :-)

Neat photos guys! Nice to see 6370 back in a more attractive scheme, especially with the wing ordinance. And next to the A-4K is even better!

Enjoying all the photos I wasn't able to take many .... too busy .... we had a record crowd and my on the day duties meant the camera stayed in the bag for most of the day ... I will post what I have on the Warbirds Facebook page It was great to have Graeme Frew and his Yak 3 at Ardmore and he put on a great display, I was able to watch his display from the flight line and it was the highlight of the day for me ..... mind you the mussel fritters were pretty damm good also !!! Great shots! I'm disappointed that some machines could not go up: why was that? Zac, the Mustang didn't fly because there wasn't a pilot available to display it, the Spitfire was grounded just before the display when it lost pressure to its brakes.

Can anyone tell me what the raised strips just forward of the flaps on the wing of the Strikemaster are, as seen in FlyingKiwi's image (above)?
Never noticed them before, so curious to know what they are. I thought that they may be speed brakes, but then, the Blunty doesn't go 'that' fast! ;D

Some really nice photos coming through, thanks for posting them. Is that Jet Ranger in a military scheme of some sort?

Great pics everyone, but I must say Colin's photo of the Miles Messenger is superb! My favourite one so far. Keep em coming!

They are the speed brakes on the Blunty... Well picked up and you are right in that we don't use them that much!
And I too think the messenger shot is the best.. but I'm a bit bias!

Thanks Paul. Also what is the bumblebee striped plane? Neat to see target tug colours back at Ardmore!

The striped aircraft is the Extra 300 ZK-XRA, they're temporary stickers for the current sponsor.

It's amazing what a young boy (my son) spotted through a hole (no bigger than a missing nail) in a hangar door whilst wandering towards AvSpecs.... Those teeny tiny lens' on cellphones do have their uses!! And when we got there, the Mossie is looking AWESOME!

The Messenger's other side. I confess to taking heaps of photos of the Messenger and then the sun came out so took heaps more! Amazes me how it almost stops in mid air and can turn in such a small circle. It really is an amazing aeroplane and always glad to take pics of it. Cheers
