Its good to have a update on this at last. I did a google around a few days ago seeing as this had largely dropped off the net & there was nothing too new so this at least is positive as is the news the RAF Museum will recover it & put it on display eventually. It will make a good memorial for Flt Sgt Copping & all the other missings with no known grave. I do though hope they get on with it while there is still something left to recover.

Thanks for the DM link Luther, even if it wasn't the news I'd hoped for. I find it profoundly sad that after all this time, there has not been more to reveal with this. It has a reek of bureaucratic inertia about it.
