Does the Raptor have a gun? The USAF argument about the BVR shoot downs reminds me of the 1950s guns vs missile argument and they took guns out of fighter aircraft only inthe 1960s onwards to reinstall them after Vietnam. If you've only got six or eight missiles & no guns what do you do afterwards?

A F22 Raptor crashed at Tyndall Air Force Base Florida at 0930 NZDT this morning. The pilot ejected and is under medical care.
