Here is the teaser trailer, it looks like it could have some interesting flying sequences as it was made with the full support of the Korean Air Force.
It is based on a 1964 Korean film called "Red Scarf".
From the Korean film website ( www.koreanfilm.or.kr/jsp/films/index/filmsView.jsp?movieCd=20124049 )..........
Plot..................
I've watched a few Korean movies and they can be quite good (they can be very good at comedy).

Filmmakers of this film claim that this is "the first Korean action film set in the sky". They also want to continue on the spirit of the beloved Korean war film <Red Muffler> (1964) directed by SHIN Sang-ok. <Soar Into the Sun> was one of the several war films and dramas made to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War. Assistance from the military was a necessity in making this and it was shot with full support from the Korean Air Force. Dogfight scenes were never before shot in a Korean film so a team of cinematographers whose work include <The Dark Knight>, <Con Air> and <Stealth> was brought in to work on this film. <Soar Into the Sun> is also the last film JUNG Ji-hoon starred in before he began his military service in October 2011.
Plot..................
A South Korean Elite Black Eagles Air Force pilot Tae-hun finds himself transferred to a combat flying unit after a cocky, unplanned, and dangerous air show demonstration. On the first day of his transfer to F15K, he meets Cheol-hui, the unit’s own top gun. Tae-hun is free-spirited, whereas Cheol-hui plays by the rules, and the two come into conflict almost immediately. However, Tae-hun quickly befriends his other colleagues: Dae-seo, Yu-jin, and Seok-hyeon. He also falls in love with Se-yeong, who is in charge of maintenance. Tae-hun continues his free-spirited ways and his antics get suspended from duty. Then one day, reconnaissance mission turns into an unexpected incident, ending in Dae-seo’s untimely death and Seok-hyeon’s disappearance. Initially blaming Cheol-hui for the tragedy, he and Tae-hun eventually come to an emotional understanding. Now the F15K make preparations to stop a war and rescue their missing comrade.
