Episode 17 - Anthony Galbraith - this episode was delayed due to the recording suffering some technical issues which were not realised till later in playback. A huge thanks to the highly skilled sound engineer Stu Russell who has kindly repaired the recording as best he can, resulting in a show that is not perfect but it's listenable - and a darned sight better than the raw recording. Apologies to Anthony and the listeners for the problems. If interest demands I'd be ahppy to do another show with Anthony at a later date. in this episode he discusses his modelling hobby, and his Auster project, plus his work done over the years at Ferrymead. www.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/WONZ_Show.html#Ep17
Very much worth the time to listen too. laughed out loud at his comment about his Tiger Moth project being a bit of a basket case. And then goes and buy's a T7 Auster also in a similar state! Mind you I can talk! ;D Must be our eyesight, we are blind to what we actually can see but our imaginations fill in all the missing bits!
The Auster should be recognised for what it is: a gentleman's aerial touring carriage and a nice aeroplane.
