nuuumannn; that last pic of the Yak 3 down-in-the-grass, in your first group of pics (above) could be a war-time image on the Russian front, in my imagination! Especially if it was monochrome. Cool pic!

Yep you got to love the South Island, when the weather is right and there's aircraft that need there photo's taken the backdrop always provides a stunning addition. Well Done once again.

Great pics. Any of the Devon being restored there? Nope , but I did spy a set of Devon fuel tanks in a local engineering shop for repair just last week . |

Cool, I imagine that will be a pretty straight forward job compared to others then are used to. Are there any Devon's actively flying in NZ at the moment?

I think there's two currently isn't there? There's one based at Ashburton that was going to be at Ardmore for the Mosquito airshow but the props had to serviced so that put paid to that plan.
