How conspicuous can you be? Spotted at the Mosquito airshow, THIS is a dedicated fan! Image-caption anyone? :-) Any other like-pics out there of the man in question? If it's good enough for JDK, then....

Ah bloody hell!!
I really did not like that ladder, nor the 15 kgs of camera gear wanting to go all directions during ascent.

Just before the last shot I was thinking "Jeez, aren't they going to give the man a hand up"? You are one dedicated enthusiast Dave. We have much to be thankful for :-)

Caption for the last photo - the guy using the microphone
"Well ladies and gentlemen, before the Mosqutio arrives an addition to todays programme will be a NZ first - the WONZ Forum Leader Free Fall attempt - where Dave will plummet earthward in a terrifying manner, only using his camera gear to break his fall - have your camera ready folks this will be spectacular!"
Dave talks to the other guy - "Is it go on 3 or 1,2,3,go?"

Crewdog, something very close to that thought was actually going through my mind as I went up and down there! It was not a particularly safe ladder. I was mindful of falling in front of such a big crowd.
There are three forum members in those photos, by the way.

You scrub up well too Dave! (Don't blame me, Teresa took the photo!) This was taken before the Dinner after the show.

Well done Beagle, yes they are my old RNZAF shoes, Deltas. Not too bad for 22 years old - you can't get 22 weeks out of most shoes these days.
Does the RNZAF still issue NZ-made Deltas? They were damned good shoes.

That Johnsons Clear Shine was good stuff. I used it on my Navy basic training after the first week and when we had divisons after basic training. Divisions are like Sqn parades, except more often.

I still have my school army Cadet boots from when I was in year 8 (1999), they are still in good condition and still fit me!
