Two more photos that I've come across of "Mac" Baigent while he was at 75 Squadron flying Mosquitos:
F/L Tom “Mac” Morgan and S/L C.H. “Mac” Baigent, at the Royal New Zealand Aero Club pageant in Dunedin, 21 February 1948. The two Macs led a four-ship RNZAF Mosquito display team that day in Mosquito NZ2321. - Whites Aviation photo, Alexander Turnbull Library, WA-12148-F.
Royal New Zealand Aero Club RAC Pageant, Mangere, 20 March 1949. Three of the nine RNZAF Mosquito crews that displayed that day, L-R: Flying Officers Scott and Macnamara, S/L C.H. "Mac" Baigent, Flight Lieutenant "Mac" Morgan and Flying Officers Horton and Hanson. - Whites Aviation photo, Alexander Turnbull Library, WA-19747-G.
Quick look back through this thread (which sadly some photos you cant see now......thanks Photoshop)
Photobucket watermark all over them.
I went back to Page One just now on my phone (using Chrome) and the photos on that page are there. However yesterday on my PC (also Chrome) they were watermarked. I do recall Chrome updating on my PC last week so may have upset or deleted the extension I had to make photobucket show (most) the photos. I'll look into that when I get home.
The Auster should be recognised for what it is: a gentleman's aerial touring carriage and a nice aeroplane.
Quick look back through this thread (which sadly some photos you cant see now......thanks Photoshop) and NZ2323 seems to be the one with this anti-glare style.
At least two of them then, as the one in the pics above is 2326 (going by the underwing serial).
Edit: Out of curiosity I went through my RNZAF Mossie stash, and while a lot of the pics are indistinct I think I can see it on -22, -23, -26 and -37, but there are pics of most of them without it, so it must have been a bit of a fad.
