Hi Craig, it's coming along fine, just hope that at least some photos can be posted. Safest storage for photos is still a box full of slides and prints, I'v got photos that date back over 120 years, how long will photos last on a computer? isc

Craig, Click on the 'Share Photo' arrow to the bottom right of your actual photo on Flickr (to the right of the star). Then the 'BBCode' bit at the top right of the window that pops up. Copy the string of code starting with "[url..." using Ctrl-C. Then go to your forum post and paste the code in to it (don't use the 'Insert image' icon, just Ctrl-V in the body of the post).

LF CTX 3 by Craig Dowden, on Flickr This is one of the nicest photos I have of CTX in her prime. I will use this to replicate the paint scheme. Not sure where I got it from... You will notice the canopy roof is a different colour. It appears they came this way from the factory (greenish tinted, unpainted fiberglass). I can only assume this was to allow extra light into the cabin.

Tail section by Craig Dowden, on Flickr Progress on the tail section. All the tricky bits completed and trial fitted. Keep in mind the fuse skins forward of this point have been completed and ready to fit once wings fitted. Just waiting for control cables to come back so they can be fitted (well at least the elevator and trim, rudder has to wait till the wings are on). The tube you can see at the front of the tail cone (reddish colour) is the elevator torque tube. The tail planes slide on to this tube and held in position with two through bolts. 2 weeks and will have to knock off for lambing. Still aiming to have wings on before Xmas....

I hope the snow stays away for lambing seasons and I hope it's a successful one for you this year weather permitting. I've been following this rebuild along with Baz"s auster
