Sweet Dinor, were you were out in the pig pen? And lovely as always Gav.
I've got quite a pile to go through - I was there all day Friday too.
Hard to pick a highlight. Connie, Hudson and Boomerang, new examples of WW2 fighters, Meteor and Sabre - wow! Time immediately outside the show proper was much more pleasant due to JDK's hospitality, plus Ryan and Tracy. And I'm sorry again for jinxing everyone else's wait times for food!

Lots of highlights Errol. Quite enjoyed the Mustang and P-40F Kittyhawk doing formation aeros. Connie was super cool as well, and that Meteor, well what can you say!!!! The Sabre is a jet that looks as good as it probably flies.

Thanks for the compliments, hope I'm not being called the 'lenswoman' ErrolC ..I spent the morning in the general admission area then from about midday went outside the airport perimeter and over to the other side of the runway, given the display line and sun I thought that was the better option, here are some more pics... Andy Wright and I are just behind the tail of that CT-4 040. Was a great day, and there have been some great shots posted so far.

Thanks for posting those photos. Really appreciated.
Two things caught my eye: 1. The Catalina looks great with the nose turret in it. I thought there were certification issues which prevented that being done nowadays; and 2. What is up with the roundel situation on Sabre? Did we ever have a period where the fern or kiwi was only carried on the fuselage?
Cheers again.

It was great Dave, worked with the Sabre pilot for a couple of days leading up to help pull it all together and was able to hand signal the pilots from the Caribou and was amazing to see the Hornets move about so well and easily. The pilots all flew amazingly well. Here is a photo Jeff Barnett took from the ground.

A question I have been wanting to ask of those there, I was very surprised at the BAE Hawks routine of a cross wind landing.... touch and go then lift off and straight into the downwind circuit for the main... There seemed a VERY long period before he spoiled up again during the touch and go and he seemed to come in very 'hot' to begin with , did others think the same ?
