This is the first episode in a short series of interviews with Cambridge-based pilot and author Noel Kruse. Part One explores Noel's early life in aviaiton, working at the Royal Victorian Aero Club in Melbourne, where he also learned to fly. He also talks about his strong desire to fly with the RAAF, and why. www.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/WONZ_Show.html#Ep33_NoelKruse1

Wonderful, just wonderful.
Love the memories of the RVAC - being a "tarmac terrier" and the ex-Luftwaffe Stuka pilot and the ex-RAF Spitfire pilot senior executives of the Aero Club! ;D
Also, couldn't agree more with his sentiments about airports discouraging young people from being able to watch aircraft easily with a the security - and also the fact that many young pilots want to get faster aircraft so they can get where they're going faster, rather than the simple joy of flying.
