Landing through someone else's prop/jet wash is never pleasant. Yes the ATR is ugly but are they really that crap? They seem to do a good job.
No excuses..haha I don't know Joe, I guess my dislike has more to do with perhaps appearence than performance, take your death pencil for example...it's cool to look at..it's a bit edgy in the flight envelope, and it just looks like its going fast, or the winglet equipped 737-800, aesthetically the prettiest civil aircraft flying...just edging the the 757 with winglets. To me the ATR looks like a ropey old Renault or Citroen, there's no flair....maybe I'm just a snob. |
