Slightly wrong David - if you read the promotion there - there are two columns for pricing - one for pre-booked tickets, and another for on the day Gate Price, for booking on line it is $35 - Plus $2.00 booking fee and 3% CC charge makes a single Adult for Sunday to be: $35 + $2 + $0.88 = $37.88 and you can buy them at the gate for $45.00, so a saving of about $7 for the adult one day ticket if bought on line. But they will be available at the gate as stated in the Gate Price column. Cheers

Hmm, I see Classic Flyers have updated their Facebook page again tonight and the no gate sales statement has now been removed. It now reads: DON'T FORGET - OUR AIRSHOW IS NOW LESS THAN 3 WEEKS AWAY !! If you haven't booked your seats yet, get online and make sure that you are part of this wonderful extravaganza. Buy online. our focus has been on offering superb value for money for our valued patrons, with children under 5 free on Sunday and children 15 and under free on Saturday if accompanied by an adult. I'm planning on flying down on Saturday evening. The last (and only) time I attended this airshow was 2010 and I thought it was excellent; a good mix of warbirds, air force and civilian stuff.

Looking forward to this! Visited the museum today and was amazed by the large amount of content in a small area, loved sitting in the hunter.

Highlight for me will be everyone's photos afterwards because sadly I am not going. I aint going if it isn't Boeing... no mention of RNZAF 757 doing a fly past or anything, just 'The Royal New Zealand Air Force will be there' Anyhow, Sad you can't make it, but I'm sure we'll be able to entertain you with photos and videos afterwards. The last airshow I went to was WoW a year ago. Drove all the way down from TGA and back, and it was worth every minute of dodging idiots on the road. Going to be a hard one to top!

We plan to arrive at Tauranga on the Friday, and have accomodation booked for 5 nights. Tickets for two on the Saturday afternoon bought. Ticket for one on the Sunday - I understand that Sunday is also a great shoe shopping day at the Mount. Then Monday/Tuesday to do the 'gor blimy' tourist thing. If you see this fellow around in The Forum shirt, say hi . . .
