Hello everyone, I have another show recorded which I am yet to edit, but I hope to have it online for you all to listen to fairly soon. It is a presentation talk that Noel Kruse gave recently at the RNZAC Annual Dinner (which was very nice). His topic was 'The Race To Mach 1' and covers the history of the science that went into breaking the so-called Sound Barrier, and the pilots who worked to achieve it. Plus he tells us who was really the first pilot to break the barrier, and why it was hushed up.
I realised yesterday that when this episode goes online it will be Episode 49. This means that the Wings over New Zealand Show is approaching a major milestone, Episode 50. I'm a bit gob-smacked, this seems to have come up fast. So, I think rather than an ordinary interview show I really need to work on something special for Episode 50. I am trying to think of ideas. I am more than open to suggestions everyone. So send in your ideas please.
