Perhaps he'd have been in the ATC in WWII, that's about it though.

Ian and Tom.I was also at the airshow-must have been mid 60's.From memory the Ceres was Aerial Farmings BVS. I suspect the pilot was George Hetterschneid?(unsure of spelling). George Hetterscheid - Dutchman Started ag flying in 1957 with Hewett Aviation, then after a spell with Auster Air Services moved north. George was also a keen Formula Vee car racing driver in the late-60s thru early 70s.

Yes; when my basic arithmetic is put aside I think we can conclude that George was not active in WW2 Was it perhaps Derek Erskine then?
