The 50th Episode Special is now online, and it's an Ardmore Special. Guests include: Niqui Taylor from Ardmore Airport Ltd Paul McSweeny from Pioneer Aero Ltd Roy King from Airspray Ardmore Ltd Warren Denholm from Avsepcs Ltd Brett Nicholls from Jet Fighter, and John Kelly from New Zealand Warbirds Association Inc. The episode is a whopping 1 hour 26 minutes. There's lots of news and interesting things going on within the episode, so I hope you enjoy it. www.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/WONZ_Show_Two.html#Ardmore_Special

This one on a different hosting account from other recent ones? I noticed because my podcast manager wasn't picking it up. If the change is permanent/ongoing, I'll change the settings on my end.
Thanks for all the work you put into these.

Yes it is as I have no money to expand the existing paid account, so I've reverted back to the original account I had for the first few months as it still has free space available. The show needs a decent sponsor or two, or we won't be able to host it online much longer. If I can get a sponsor to fund the main hosting account I'll transfer this one over. there's a tiny amount of space on the 'paid' account but not enough to host this large episode, so the next episode may end up back on the 'paid' account.

Do you need all of the tools from podomatic etc or just storage/bandwidth space?

I need the podomatic tools I'm afraid so it's just a question of funding the account.

Great episode. I was slow to find it as it was not on the usual feed, but it was worth chasing down. The show has really developed over the 50 episodes, and the amount of access Dave is granted goes to show 1) how generous many of the people are with their time in the warbird/flying community and 2) the high esteem in which Dave is held in that community.

Thanks for the comments and feedback guys. Sorry about the episode not being on the usual feed, it's a matter of not having enough cash to upgrade the existing account and so making use of my free account with space still on it, simply to get it up online. The episode is as ever linked to all the usual places, Wings over Cambridge, the WONZ Show Facebook page, and here on the forum. And it will very soon also be hosted by Warbird Radio from the USA.
I enjoyed making the Ardmore episode and as there's so much scope at that one airport I am sure we'll have more shows from Ardmore in the future, with updates from folk at our favourite restoration shops, and many other people around the airfield with interesting stories to tell.

Dave, I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that if you need funding to upgrade the existing account, we'd be happy to chip in. The 'service' you provide us and the hours of listening pleasure are worth it. Don't be shy with saying what you need to make things happen/official/easier/flash etc.

Thank you Andy. I do appreciate that.
The next level that I can upgrade the account to is a Platinum Yearly Account which means I'll have 5GB of space rather than the current 2.5GB, so doubles the space and would do for at least another year's worth of shows I guess. But the cost is US$147.16 with my current-user discount. that equates to NZ$180.61 at the current rate. So not cheap! You can see why i have asked for sponsors in the prologue.
If I did get that upgrade I'd slip Episode 50 across to that account so it's back in the same place.

. . .the cost is US$147.16 with my current-user discount. that equates to NZ$180.61 at the current rate. I have sent NZD30.00 to your Paypal account today Dave. If five others each also send $30, that's your $180. Go for it guys.
