This little Eurofox, flown from the UK on here last leg of a journey onto NZ hopefully in the morning, plan to get some departure shots if work doesn't get in the way! In 2021 I taught myself to edit then upload some of the clips I took while taking these stills. How this is done I mount a video camera on a tube attached to my 150 to 600mm lens press record and hope for the best while concentrating on the stills, hence a bit shaky and average in places.

Good luck Chris and Abby! Yeah that last pic really gives that feel of a little aeroplane taking on a mammoth task! I see they are just under about half way right now and maybe nearly in a cross wind as apposed to the head wind they took off into.

As usual lovely photos planecrazy. The back drop of the mountains is beautiful and it never seems to rain when you take them. I see the couple must get on very well as the cockpit seems cramped. Regards, DADE.

What an amazing effort. Great shots. Just thinking how big and mean the ocean would look out of that wholly perspex door!

Regards, DADE. Thanks dade, Chris actually mentioned he choose his co-pilot for two reasons, one good company and two, a not so heavy person as weight was a factor. Don't worry it can rain here, guess I'm lucky as most people would only fly such long distance over water in ideal conditions. Here's an older pic from 3/18 with a bit of H2O on departure, Lord Howe to NZ direct.

I was away at the time so not aware that the new Kiwi T28 made the front cover of the local rag!

Managed to snag this little job last night, Cessna 162, currently in the air between Norfolk and Keri Keri. Don't know if she is an import or just a visitor?

Indeed - when I was with AAC I found the non adjustable seats in those things got exceptionally uncomfortable after more than an hour or so, I hope whoever is flying it has either a strong back or a lot of cushions with them!

First for the new year is a beauty, this Beaver on her way to the north Island to become a crop dusting crew trainer! Steven and Hayden Death as crew. Not that I’ve seen many but first one I have seen with the double controls. More pic’s in the morning is the plan, direct Lord Howe Island to Keri Keri NZ.

On her way at around 6am local time 1,400 odd Klms to Keri Keri, New Zealand! Taxiing past the resident 182 out of her hangar while the weather is nice. Been experimenting a little with cropping my shots, not everyone’s cup of tea perhaps, like how you can see a bit more detail getting in nice and close. Beautiful light from this angle with the sun lighting up the engine, that windsock needs replacing?
