I believe 3 actually, Dave. One ZK-PTA is in Tauranga, and PTB is also in Aus.

Here’s an oldie, 1996 Mooney sneaked in this arvo, she’s over-nighting so will try and get the drum? Only the second 'F' registered aeroplane I can remember going through in 28 years!

Just after lunch time today this XL 750 called in for fuel on her way home to New Guinea after some repairs in New Zealand.

Formerly with Mount Cook Airlines? Rare you see them with two regos, I was wondering if the old rego MCD stood for perhaps Mount Cook Destinations?

Formerly with Mount Cook Airlines? Yes, and also with NZ National Airways Corporation. It was hired by the Corporation in late 1976 while runway improvements were made at Kaitaia.

I got a photo of it at Ardmore a few days ago outside Dennis Thompson's, thought it looked a bit confused with two registrations marked on it. I suppose without the ZK prefix the MCD letters don't mean anything once it leaves NZ.

I had already been cancelled from the NZ Register last week, so what ever was painted on the side, it wasn't ZK-MCD.

Couldn’t get any closer to these two as working at the time, 185 currently on Norfolk Island, I guess heading to NZ, been a few tail draggers this year! The 172 landed around half an hour ago 8 hours flying time from Lord Howe Island to Auckland, wow that is a long tome over the briny! I assume EWZ is an import to NZ, it was outside Dennis Thompson's at Ardmore this morning. I was interested to note on Facebook someone has applied a small decal of, shall we say, a person with a sheep... Bit of a trans-Tasman jab? N425HB is now NZ owned as well apparently although I don't know if the registration will be changing.

Thanks to a contact I find myself reporting some more sad news, the F registered Mooney that visited last November crashed a couple of days ago, thoughts with the family and friends. aviation-safety.net/wikibase/231914Here’s an oldie, 1996 Mooney sneaked in this arvo, she’s over-nighting so will try and get the drum? Only the second 'F' registered aeroplane I can remember going through in 28 years!

Oh dear. That's not good. Sounds like the loss of four good guys.
