Most grateful to those who posted and sent messages so I could be there for this ones arrival, I hate missing the rarer ones, bit of a team effort many thanks to all! I guess I am a bit biased because of their history, I think they are a handsome little machine. Very capable as well, on the ground for half an hour after 5.49 hours Keri Keri to Lord Howe Island. Fuel and go, Lord Howe Island to Coolangatta 2.21 hours.

He's another couple of clips, from the size of a Herc to the smallest machine I have seen visit, spent many years in New Zealand called in for fuel and on to a new home in Oz.
Only seen one visit of the RAAF's Spartans.

I do enjoy this thread, mate, the scenery is so photogenic and provides a great backdrop to the various aircraft you photograph. Keep it up.

Yeah that was fun and great to meet you as well Peter. Bit surprised by the visit by one of the RAAF’s new Spartans today, did a few touch and goes, parked up for a bit without shutting down then departed. She's looking a little weather beaten for her age? Been very little action of late so was nearly caught out. Really like this shot nice and busy.
