Funnily enough I was sitting watching TV earlier and heard a very different aircraft engine noise overhead and jumped on Flightradar and was this SR22 on a short hop from KSA to Bankstown.

That turbine 210 has been based at Ardmore for the last few years, it looks like a beast.

She's a beast alright, the thing that blew me away was the size of the prop, delivery of all that Rolls Royce power!

Snapped a couple of local fellas flying in the lift today. Love this mix a bull, a water tank, a satellite dish, a Cessna 182 and a hanglider.

Yesterday's late afternoon arrival, this 185 copped a bit of rock n roll with a tricky wind direction, came from Coffs Harbour overnighting and onto?? Will try and get the departure, it's windy!

Buggar missed the 185, life and times of a plane spotter, was told a 6am take off, went down there and sat around windy and cold, got to around 6.45am thought I've had enough went home for a cuppa and sure enough she went over the house at around 7.10am bound for Keri Keri.

Choppers from Tassie. Fair flight from home. They came out from Port Macquarie, not sure if they had fuel bladders.

Just made it in time for this one on her way to the South Island of New Zealand via Lord Howe and Norfolk Island’s. Tricky light conditions and even trickier for the pilot, around 30 knots of cross wind, bit of a sequence of the landing. Check the windsock, fair cross wind there! Try and get up for the 6am departure tomorrow!

Looks like he was working hard there, can't imagine that wing dihedral would be helping matters!

For those who have not worked out what is was, it is the former T188C Husky ZK-ETR from Wanganui. It is no longer fitted with the turbo charged engine but a conversion was is known as a Bonaire 550, now offered by Davis Aviation Services by fitting the aircraft with an IO-550. The new engine can be fitted to Cessna 185 and 206 models.
In that casual walk around, the give away, is the big square tipped three blade propeller.
