This is an Experimental aircraft forum and provided participants understand what can be reasonably discussed publicly relating to their projects without compromising their novel aspect claims there is no reason why such discussion should not benefit everyone.
Even providing guiding information could save someone the a lot of strife and no one should be upset about the need to be understanding about Legal matters.I am aware of my responsibility and am prepared to discus openly my views about my project and others.

The thing is, you havent really told us anything, only a very generalised description which in that form sounds unworkable (but may not be of course - but based on the only info we have, what else do we comment on?). Why bother even bringing it up? You then appear to belittle our comments claiming we dont understand the science. Once again, why bother? A number of us are sceptical becuase the phrases you use so often ("Its a patent secret" "you wouldnt understand the science") have been used for centuries by confidence tricksters and snake oil salesmen. What is your background? Scientific? Academic? Technical? Aircrew? please introduce yourself. I've been in the aircraft engineering trade since the early 1990s, I'm a qualified pilot, Designed and built my own aircraft and run aircraft maintenance and homebuilt aircraft training courses. My development work on my aircraft did involve a lot of gut instinct, but was nevertheless peer reviewed by trusted engineers and homebuilders throughout the process - and it withstood scutiny. I think I have a decent grasp on aerodynamic physics! "I've built something with wings out the side and a couple of wheels at the bottom...." |

This is an Experimental aircraft forum This is actually a New Zealand aviation forum, covering all aspects of aviation in NZ, military and civil, old and new. The experimental board is a small section of that, just as it is a small section of the whole NZ aviation scene. Overall the forum is here for the discussion of news and history and the exchange of ideas, views and thoughts. Your posts so far have baffled a lot of people because you seem to want people to discuss a topic that you've not yet fully let them into, and you seem to be determined to keep it that way. It doesn't really work like that, so expect more of the same from people till you tell us what this is actually all about in detail. |

I have not suggested a dual drive and I have suggested that it is possible to build a ground effect vehicle similar to what the early pioneers tried to do but that they were missing out on a mechanical arrangement (or failed to try) that can control the forward,back,left,right control..
.. and cancel out un-equal lift (which would not be a problem in this craft) of a simple rotor or fan supported Hovercraft and not follow the pattern of the usual cushion craft.
Ascending and descending can easily be achieved by a minor increase or decrease in power or if desired collective pitch control.I am not trying to fly. There is no one way to design such a craft and this is open for discussion on how this can be achieved.
I am not in any particular hurry and bully tactics and snide remarks do not benefit any discussion.

I think it might be best all round Freethinker if you stopped posting on this topic and go away and prove or disprove your theories, and then report back after the event. If anyone out there want to offer input or assist you they can send you a Private Message, so you can discuss all this offline and not have to give away your secrets in public.

Thank`s admin.I would like to peruse the forum and of course I am still interested in discussing in particular tiltrotor craft and related subjects.I do not know what some forum members are afraid of and it is a pity that they could not discus their concerns directly to me as I think the Rules suggest..face to face.

Feel free to continue posting, and using the forum, I'm not trying to put you off the place. I think though that there have been some pretty experienced engineers who've tried to understand what you're saying and have failed, so they have dismissed the thread as nonsense. I don't personally care either way as I'm not a pilot or an engineer. I just don't want to see an argument erupt so please everyone be nice, cool, calm and collected, and listen to what each other is asking/saying with respect.
