THE WINGS OVER NEW ZEALAND SHOW IS TWO YEARS OLD!!
The WONZ Show has been online for two years now! It first went online on the 14th of December 2011 with Episode One. Now there are 56 episodes available on the WONZ Show pages. That averages out to more than one show every fortnight which is not too bad a rate I guess.
What have been your highlights in those two years? And in the past year?
And what would you like to hear in the future? Are you still listening and enjoying the series?

Still listening! Personally for me the Noel Kruse series has been fantastic plus listening to Warren from Avspecs and Paul from Pioneer. Al Marshall's one was great too. Don't think there's been a boring one yet though!

Just found out that for the first time we are not working through so the 4 days over the break that I was going to be working will be used to do some work on the Auster AND catch up on my listening! Dave I saw an interesting doco on Sky over the weekend about the NZ Long Range Desert Group and a return to the battlefield in Libya where there are still two NZ trucks that were taken out in a clash with the Italians. Lots of good photos, talks with Kiwi veterans from that battle. Worth a look if you can find it somewhere else. Man they were tough men!

I have seen that documentary, it was on TV One a couple of years ago. I also know Brendan O'Carroll who made it and wrote the books. He comes to Armistice in Cambridge each year with his LRDG display. This year we had four 30 cwt Chevrolet trucks and two jeeps in LRDG guise too.

Hi Dave, Keep up the good work. I have just finished listening to the first 59 podcasts. Noel Kruse all nine parts what a great bit of history, so much like Iggy's book here are 2 guys been there done that and telling us about things they did from their perspective. With one thing jogging a memory for something else. All one can say is bloody brilliant Dan

Thanks Dan, there will hopefully be more shows from Noel in the near future too, the next phase being his conversion onto the mighty Caribous. Also very soon Iggy Wood will also feature in a show with his great talk from the Forum Meet. I just need to find time...

Dave - great to hear that there is more to come from Noel, I've enjoyed all of his episodes & looking forward to his tales flying the dear old Caribou. His 'race to mach 1' speech was also enjoyable. I hope you have plenty more coming as I'm averaging 30 minutes a day every day on my morning walks

I have some pretty interesting people lined up to interview in the future, I just need to get to them and get the shows recorded. Not easy when I'm broke.
