It's well worth taking time to sit and listen to Bryan's amazing stories. e's such a great chap. He's also one of the earliest members of this forum and reads here all the time when he can. A pity he never has the time to post some stories here, but he's a very busy chap.

I am now piecing together the Airshow Archives entry for this airshow. Does anyone here know who was flying the following display aircraft please?
- The Marlborough Aero Club's WT9 Dynamic which towed up the glider? - Yak 52's ZK-YAC and YXO - The team who launched and flew the Fieseler V-1 replica - The L-29 Delphins (one was Lachlan Falconer, which one and who flew the other?) - Who were the crew members of Iroquois NZ3816? - Who were the crew members of NH90 NZ3308? - Who were the two crew in the Texan II and what was it's serial number? - Who were the crew onboard the Orion NZ4201? - Who was the crew that flew in the A109 helicopter?
Any details will be most appreciated, thanks!

Sitting in my office in "The Shire" listening to the torrential rain, the howling wind, thunder...... and looking at all those marvellous pics. Seems like forever ago now

The following photo and text was sent to me by Graham Orphan to post here: A FACE OF CLASSIC FIGHTERS THAT FEW SEE..... (read in the voice of David Attenborough) This unique image, captured on the night of Good Friday, shows one of those special moments in nature. As can be seen, after a long flight covering many many miles from their home nests, these ageing migrating birds have found a safe and quiet place to rest out of the wind. Ever wary of possible predators that might stalk them in the night, they have sought the security of some light to help ward off any hostile visitors. Feeling their age, they have flocked in a group for mutual protection, and also for a sense of community. It is rare to see quite so many of these now rare specimens nesting together these days, making the occasion all that more special! Crs, G

I think I watched you get out, I looked at my bacon-and-avocado roll and coffee, and thought: "Well, that's how I spent my money..."! You lucky thing!
