Did anyone go to Tyabb over the weekend? Any comments?

Hi Mustang51, yes I was able to make it and a first time for me.
It was pretty impressive and totally different in atmosphere and style to say a temora. A bit like a Classic Fighters type show ie a broad cross section of types, hangars open for viewing , classic cars , battle reenactment .
Highlights were the two pups flying, static display of the Snipe ( commentary stated maiden is due this week ), and the warbirdz. The flying sequence in both the Paul Bennett and Chris Sperou Pitts were world class.... Really really 'aggressive' not the right word but only one I can think of.... Seems like I have been watching Chrus Sperou do displays all my life , quite an amazing individual really ... To do what he does at 75 is mind boggling.
Bloody hot though, just like Temora ... Had to leave before the final F18 display
Took some shots and will post up this weekend

Sadly, I couldn't convince my other half to spend a few days in Melbourne so I could do this and Pt Cook.

As I said to Aeromedia this morning..... I press the play button and it just changes to pause button. What devilry is required to get it to play

I'm guessing that you need a more modern web browser than the one you are using. Or you have some kind of protection settings in your browser that stops things running unless you give permission on that website. If you make www.vimeo.com 'trusted' or suchlike that might sort it. Yes lovely pics! Great weather for it - except too hot! Was that a Yak 3 there in several shots? I re-viewed the Vimeo video too - lovely editing and slo-mo - great in HD and full screen.
