Just got back from the printers and the final painting dose look smart. Three things that give it that, what appear to be out 1 . The angle of the photo I took and again the lighting. 2 . I wanted the painting to be new so it was a lot of pre-hand sketching and rubbing out to get it right. 3 . One on the front of the engine nacelle, around 6 to 8 ft the outside off the nacelle also canters inward on the intake spike. Again looking at it after the final print in daylight it is smack on.

Bristol 188 .. sticking with the sharp pointy planes, this is one I started around 2012, the TSR2 timeline but other come out a little quicker, this was a experimental aircraft , for me was ideal to return and experiment with metallic colour, finally happy with after other works .. on to other paintings The TSR2 .. that is another tricky one .. everyone have seemed to have drawn or painted it so that is still in the cooking pot.

Thanks Dusty Kiwiduster says it all, AG Air to Ground attack , I'd better get ole 'Dusty Crop Hopper' of the shelf ... I do need to add to the real New Zealand, that would be an interesting theme, tho not new, have a good friend Nick aka 'Choppernut' stop here a few times and said the very same thing.

I was asked to colourise and redo the "THE PHANTOM - BIRD ON A WIRE" , still a little messy but the result is showing some dividends, a mixture of Adobe CS5.5 and water colour and water colour pencil, the original drawing done three and half years back in pencil and black inks.
