The mounting in the Trade Me photos appears to be one solid cast unit,it must weigh a ton.The other jet engine mounts are all fabricated and look much lighter.....thats my .2c worth.

You guys are mean building his hopes up,he thinks he's just won lotto with the Meteors engine.
Theres no way that ever went in an early Meteor,the first jets were so underpowered they really did need to get off the ground using the curviture of the earth. I'm picking its off an industrial gas turbine installation like a compressor,generator or similar,looks to heavy to fly.
