Devon UFO is probably the mortal remains of NZ1802 sold to Culham Engineering in 1980. They got 4 Devons and registered them ZK-UCO, ZK-UDO, ZK-UEO and ZK-UFO

Don, the Vampire pilots were Denton, Dovey and Lloyd, although I don't know which Lloyd brother it was.

Wonderful collection of photos, thanks for posting, you never know what is coming next. Seeing the rows of Seafires and Fireflies makes it more understandable how they could not mind leaving a couple behind.
The young Don at Riverhead is the spitting image of his son Steve... or I guess that should be the other way around...?

Or maybe it is Steve and I have mislabelled it? Haha, I am sure Steve will confirm if I am wrong.

Tempest TT.5 at Duxford too, I think (IWM-owned).

It is a TT.5, (not that you can tell the difference from a MkV from these photos) but it belongs to RAFM, not IWM

The photos of VH-ASV noted as a Lockheed 10A in the post of 11th October are in fact the Lockheed 12A Electra Junior which was originally registered VH-ABH when new, subsequently became VH-ASV around April 1963 and now exists as VH-ABH since June 1978. It is a very noisy aircraft even in cruise (my experience as a passenger it).
