Has the genuine Bristol Fighter that Peter Jackson recently purchased from the UK arrived at Omaka yet?
Am I correct in thinking the Omaka Collection already has a flyable replica Bristol Fighter too? Or am I thinking of the Avro 504K?

To quote Alex Mitchell's caption for the Bristol F.2B from "Classic Aircraft of New Zealand" (shameless plug ;D) ... "Built by Ed and Pete Storo, this aircraft is a replica brought out to New Zealand from the USA for the 2001 Classic Fighters air show at Omaka Airfield. The aircraft is now part of the Omaka Fighter Collection." Can't provide any info on the genuine item off the top of my head though ... perhaps somebody in the know or a bit of googling would help. Cheers, Stu.

So there will soon be two flying from Omaka then. Cool. I hope one will be put into NZPAF colours.

I have to admit that I've never really been a huge fan of WW1 aircraft, but what with all the discussions about, and photos, of these aircraft on this forum my appetite has been well and truly whet. Can't wait to go to Omaka next year. How many sleeps to go? ?
