I note on the website of the RNZAF Museum there are a few new attractions that were not there when I last visited in April. Andover tours Pacific War Room experience www.airforcemuseum.co.nz/main/andoverandpacificroomtours/Drawing Room Tea www.airforcemuseum.co.nz/main/drawingroomteas/The drawing room tea is a nice idea. That wartime house is quite innovative and I know when i was there with Dad in 2004 it took him back a bit to the 1940's. It's a shame that the museum didn't secure one of the base state houses and set it up like a house would have looked in the 1940's when they were built, and used by an RNZAF officer and his family. That'd be neat, but too costly I'd think. It's great to see though that one of the rooms in the genuine WWI barracks is kitted out as it would have been back in 1914-18 though. It'd be nice to extend that concept to a real base house.

I'll be going thru the museum in February whilst en route to the SAA fly In at Ashburton - I'll make sure I have a look at these and get some pictures.
