The object in the image is clearly aircraft landing lights - a basic web cam like that used (especially on a crappy night) wont have the definition to make out the Nav lights and strobes. The "Saucer" effect is lens moisture (such as is clearly visible on the rest of the image) The Flight tracking system has obviously got a spurious data bug...
If it was supposed to be easy. everyone would be doing it...

The mystery of the alleged airships that were being seen at night over New Zealand, the USA and many other parts of the world in the early 1900's have always intrigued me.
I recently happened upon a very entertaining and insightful podcast called "Expanded Perspectives" where the hosts look into and discuss all sorts of mysteries and strange happenings in the world. This particular episode looks at this airship phenomena and has details of some really interesting encounters: www.expandedperspectives.com/mystery-airships-and-the-sonora-aero-club/

What do you make of this story, that came up in a link from Facebook of supposed Top Ten WWII Mysteries - can there possibly be any truth to this? If so, where is the evidence?
"A US Plane Used During The Defence Of Pearl Harbor Crash Landed On US Soil Almost A Year Later… But No Trace Of The Pilot Was Ever Found
Numerous tales of supposed “ghost planes” spotted during World War II exist, but perhaps the most spine-tingling story is that of the P-40 fighter that allegedly returned to US soil a full year after the Pearl Harbor attack.
On December 8, 1942, US radar picked up an unidentified plane heading straight for American soil from Japan – with many fearing a new type of attack or diversion from the Axis Powers. In order to determine what was happening, two fighter planes flew up alongside the UFO and reported back that it was a P-40 not used since the defence of Pearl Harbor a year previously.
What was even more bizarre was that the landing gear was completely disabled, the plane had bullet holes in the side, and the pilot was covered in fresh blood and slumped forward in his cockpit. The pilot then waved moments before the flight nosedived towards the ground and crash landed.
Yet when the wreckage was analysed, there was no trace at all of any pilot – and a diary was discovered that claimed the plane had come from the island of Mindanao, 1,300miles into the Pacific Ocean.
If the pilot had crash-landed on the island following the Pearl Harbor attack, then how did he survive for a full year, how did he get the plane off the ground without a landing gear, why did he have fresh blood on himself, and what happened to his body?"

I still remember the factual beginning of '1941' "Arr Hollywoody" or the 40mm Bofor's gun this way and going this way and that thru the house on the beach Course the in combat refueling by 'Wild Bill Kelso' the heroic fighter ace .. I must get that movie for my shelf .. so fact filled it is
Man, there are some really weird conspiracy theories flying about here! As usual, hardly any of them make any sense at all, in fact none of them do. Still, an interesting interlude in WW2, and something to stay up late at night for, to watch the growing excitement in expectation of seeing huge enemy bombers "plunging to earth, wreathed in flames". Lasers for CIWS .. from the pre WWII period simply go to Frank Whittle .. CRIKEY .. a rocket powered thingy that will drive .. well we all know , biggest thing is you are going to get the 'Weird Conspiracy Theorist' that is what makes it fun !

'Hang On' lets go to history and the well known Eighth Air Force and famous contrails .. If anyone needed a reality check was the 'twit' trying to get into parliament 'Colin Craig' .. how the hell did he (possible alien) ever get that far ! .. "really weird conspiracy theories" YIP
